SINCE1910 CASE STUDY

Objective:

H.L. Gross Jewelers came to Mad Development to build a large scale custom ecommerce application to sell GIA certified diamonds and designer settings.  They wanted to be able to update every aspect of the website, while still upholding extremely custom work flow, design requirements and search engine optimization. 

The main objective was to optimize the website to show up on the first page of google, yahoo and bing for 12 key terms.

Solution:

The project launched 1/1/2009.  By 1/1/2010, Since1910.com is on the first page of google for ALL 12 key terms - MOST in the top 3-5.

Mad is continually improving Since1910, its' functionality, optimization and internet marketing strategy.  In the companies 1st year of business, (Jan 1, 2009 - Jan 1, 2010), Since1910 acheived mid 7 figure revenues!

Web Development: Mad Development built a fully functional ecommerce website that accepts a spreadsheet of 60,000 diamonds every morning - applies 22 business rules to the data and determines what is available to search.  H.L. is able to alter any single aspect of their website, including the mark up percentages on specific sets of stones, individual products, designer categories, product groupings and more.  

Search Engine Optimization: Mad developed a dotnetnuke search engine optmization strategy that encompassed 8 key areas of concentration.
